In Tuesday night’s final practice race, No Name Racing’s Jake Wright started on pole, led 99 laps in route to found victory lane. Goin’ Broke Racing’s Justin Laxton finished second, where he ran for much of the race and Trevor Malone finished third. Team #nailedit’s Dan Geren finished fourth and last week’s winner, Rick Music finished 5th. The only driver to lead a lap, other than Wright was No Chance Racing’s Jack Bogan who finished 8th after starting the race in 18th.
Certainly, Wright and Laxton will be driver’s to watch, as will Dan Roeper and Jorge Anzaldo who qualified 2nd and 4th respectively. In addition to those drivers, here are several other drivers to watch:
Trevor Malone: Malone finished third in last night’s race, and was the fastest car on the track at the end of the race. He’s only running a partial schedule this season, and will be looking to find victory lane.
Dan Geren: Team #nailedit’s top driver qualified sixth and ran towards the front for most of Tuesday night’s practice race. Dan turned one of the fastest laps in practice this week, and will be looking to rebound from his 25th place finish at Homestead.
Rick Music: Coming off last week’s win in the Overdrive Graphics 200 and a fifth place finish in the practice race, Music is beaming with confidence and will look to continue his hot streak with a good finish at Milwaukee.
Sleeper Pick: Jack Bogan
Jack had a great run in Tuesday’s practice race, leading 14 laps and executing pit strategy to perfection. As long as Bogan can keep his nose out of trouble, he will look to move up in the points from his 29th place standing.
