The Lionheart Racing Series Powered by HyperX announced today its official partnership with GRAAFix eSports known for its fantastic livery design and branding in both the virtual and real motorsports world.
Tyler Graaf, owner of GRAAFix eSports is no stranger to the Lionheart Racing Series. Joining in 2018, Tyler quickly became one of the leagues most popular drivers and eventually found him self working hand in hand with series admins. Tyler became widely known throughout the league for his talents as a graphic artist designing close to a third of all virtual liveries competing in Lionheart. It was Tyler’s ability and artistic talent that caught the eye of series founder Jorge Anzaldo. “We found out early on what Tyler could do artistically,” Anzaldo said. “Tyler and helped fill a void that the league needed in a very critical time. His work on our sponsor guides was pivotal in assisting the league in finding some of its most important sponsors. From custom logos to our amazing yearly Indy 500 Spotters Guide Tyler and GRAAFix eSports has helped define the look of the series. Just wait till you see his 2021 collection of liveries in action this year. Tyler does some amazing work. I’m extremely proud to have GRAAFix partnering with the Lionheart Racing Series in this capacity for the 2021 Season.” The new partnership allowed Tyler Graaf to reflect on his involvement with the series as well as the future of Lionheart. “I followed a friend to Lionheart in early 2018 and had no Idea what I was getting myself into. From my first meeting with Jorge, I knew this league was better than anything I’ve ever raced in. Just the organization of the league itself was better orchestrated than some karting series I ran as a teenager. The competition and commitment of everyone in this series pushed me to improve my sim racing craft as fast as I could. As the league’s drivers have evolved and gotten even more skilled, the excitement of being here grows each year. Very quickly I realized I had a product that could help move the league forward, and I was asking Jorge how I could be involved by the end of 2018.” “Aside from designing liveries for a large handful of the drivers in Lionheart, being able to provide this graphical content that is so important to the visual image of the league is humbling. I put a lot of pressure on myself to make sure every aspect of my design work is done to give the all the leagues partners and sponsors the best visual exposure in sim racing. The better they look, the more it benefits the league and the drivers that put so much into it. This league carries a name that is so Important to me. Dan Wheldon was my racing idol growing up, and the more Lionheart grows as a series, the more it contributes to his legacy. Dan’s legacy is something I was lucky enough to contribute with in other forms as well. In 2013 Susie Wheldon brought me on as the official designer of the Dan Wheldon Pro-Am Karting Challenge charity race, I learned so much about Dan and his legacy from fellow drivers and friends. The culture in this series embodies who Dan was, Lionheart is an amazing place to race that is also filled with great people, drivers and admins who are driven so hard to succeed. GRAAFix’s home is Lionheart. I am extremely excited for this season, and ecstatic for our first year as official partners.” GRAAFix eSports will provide a multitude of graphics arts work for the series including all of the league’s custom race logos, schedule graphics and spotters guides for every championship series for 2021. GRAAFix will also create custom graphics for social media use by the league as well as logistical assistance by handling all of the leagues virtual paint files and custom league overlays, ensuring that the field looks their best each and every event. GRAAFix eSports will be featured as the title sponsor to 3 races during the 2021 Season as well as the title sponsor to the first ever triple crown event for the new Speedway Series at Homestead Miami Speedway on April 19th, 2021. Also, as part of the sponsorship agreement GRAAFix will be supplied with a total of 30 on board cameras which will be spread out across Lionheart’s 58 live events.
