33 cars will grid at most tracks. At tracks over 1.5 miles, 35 cars will grid.

18 race season with 2 drop weeks

Top 20 in points will automatically make the field.

Last Seasons points will lock in the top 20 for the first 4 weeks.

The remaining 13 spots will be decided by a 2 lap time trial to be held 1 hour before the scheduled race time.

If there are available grid positions, the remaining spots will go to the next best Qualifying times of drivers not already qualified for the race.

Drivers are required to be in the race room at 9:35 or they may forfeit their spot if they have not received prior approval.

At 9:45 a 2 lap qualifying session will determine the starting grid based on fastest time.

If you enter the room, you are expected to race. Any driver that does not grid, will be suspended for the following race. The exception to this is an unforseen technical problem.

For 2015 season 2, all drivers must pay a 20$ entry fee. This will go to broadcasts, sessions and payouts.

The only exception to this is the All star race winner, whom will receive free entry.

For drivers wishing to run a partial season, the season will be cut in to three, six week blocks. A driver must pay $10 per 6 race block.

If after the first 6 week block the driver has run, the driver wishes

All Lionheart members prior to May 1, 2015 will be grandfathered into the series.

All grandfathered drivers should maintain an irating of 1500 B to be eligible to race, but may be allowed at the discretion of series admins.

Any new members are preferred to have an irating of 1800 A to be eligible to join the league and maintain the 1500 level to be eligible to race, but exceptions may be allowed at the discretion of series admins.

There is no minimum requirement for road races.

The incident cap for oval races has been lowered to 12x and will result in a -5 point championship point penalty.

The incident cap for road races remains at 17x.

Any driver with more than 8x incident points in any oval race, will receive a -3 point penalty in the series championship points.

Any driver with more than 12x in a road race will receive a -3 point penalty in the series championship.

Any driver with 17x in a road race will be disqualified and will receive a -5 point championship point penalty.

Once a driver acheives 75 incidents in a season, that driver will be given an automatic 1 race suspension. If said driver then reaches 90 incidents in a given season, that driver will serve a 2 race suspension.

Teams will be allowed to compete for a separate team championship.

Each team can have no more than 4 drivers in the series, and MUST notify series admins by e-mail to [email protected] of the team members and the official team name.

Any registered team is eligible for the team championship.

Points for the team championship will be calculated and recorded in DanLisa.

A digital certificate for winning the team championship will be provided to the team as an award for their effort.

Anyone on a team, or quasi-team (drivers/teams working together without forming an official team) are prohibited from "team tactics".

Examples of "team tactics" include, but are not limited to: slowing down/running side-by-side to allow a teammate to gain a lead/pass a car; deliberately spinning to cause a caution; wrecking another car and deliberate restart tactics meant to gain an advantage.

Deliberate violations of "team tactics" will be at the sole discretion of the series admins, and will not be subject to an appeal.

Penalties can range from a points penalty, single driver probation, team probation, single driver suspension, team suspension, single driver removal from the series, or entire team removal from the series.
